Up High. Down Low.

Welcome to another edition of Artful Notes where we let Drift take you new heights, PBS take you to new lows, and musical-ness is wacky. Take a ride and check out the blossoms on the journey!

Let’s go!

Art I’ve Found

Drift

Isaac “Drift” Wright is an artist. He is also a Veteran. He also creates some of the most breathtaking images you will ever see. Does he sometimes trespass and risk life and limb to get the images. Yes. Is it wrong? That’s for you to decide, but you will never see images like Drift shoots, images that might have you petrified and exhilarated at the same time.

I, for one, can’t wait for his documentary to make the rounds, but in the meantime check out his art and videos at:

My Art

Duck. Duck. Cherry.

It was recently peak bloom season for the cherry blossoms in Washington D.C. It reminded me of the time I was able to witness them, at sunrise, with a couple of friends!

Music I’ve Found

God I Hate Shakespeare
from the musical “Something Rotten!

I don’t know if the musical is any good, but I heard the song, “God, I Hate Shakespeare” and laughed a lot.

My Dorky Song

Should I Sing and Sell Things

There was a car salesman going viral for singing opera to describe cars he had to sell. It made me wonder if that’s what I need to do to go viral?

I’ve Written

Here They Come. There They Go.

My next short story is now available! Ben’s latest adventure takes him on a journey into the city with his wife, Amy, for a great steak. Little did he know he would discover the inspiration that is Santiago, their ride-share driver, who usually listens to his passenger’s stories, but this time, tells his journey to Ben and Amy.

One More Thing…

Who Poops Faster?

Do you think it takes longer for an elephant to poop or a human? Think again! Read this article from PBS for the scoop on poop speed.
