Lost in Inspiration and Meditation

Welcome to another edition of Artful Notes where Down syndrome won’t bring you, well, down, love is in the air, and maybe you want to get your calm on. Just don’t drink the sun tea, although we are all gonna die someday, so maybe go ahead and have that sun tea anyway.

Let’s go!

Art I’ve Found

Houston Vandergriff

Houston is a travel photographer, spanning the globe with awesome adventures and even more awesome photography. You might find him in Italy, Finland, Ecuador, or any of some 30 countries. And, oh yea, how about all 50 states, or the entire state of Tennessee, his home state.

And, oh yea, he is a worldwide advocate for those with Down syndrome, because, yup, Houston has Down syndrome. So, along with bringing the beauty of the world to you, he is also out there showing the world obstacles are there to overcome, to push through, and find the beauty on the other side.

Check out Houston, his infectious smile, wonderful art, and be inspired to live your best life. He is!

Find My Art…

Music I’ve Found

We’re All Gonna Die Someday – Kasey Chamber

Yup, I’m still going through all of my music in my Apple Music Library, and re-discovered the wonderfulness that is Kasey Chambers.

While “The Captain” is probably my favorite song from her album, “The Captain,” “We’re All Gonna Die Someday” is just so damn fun that I had to spotlight it.

My Dorky Song

Horn Blowing in the Sky

I was walking near the railroad tracks, and I heard a train a comin’. It wasn’t rollin’ round a bend, but I did catch the eye of the engineer, gave the appropriate motion, and sure enough, the engineer blew the horn.

I was 8 years old again, and of course I sang about it!

I have 1,600+ songs on YouTube!

I’ve Written

A Double-Whammy This Week!

Air Supply
Check out my review of Air Supply.

Yes, that Air Supply. They are still touring, and put on a two “lovey-dovey” thumbs up show!

Blood Shine
I also have a four out of five start movie review of a horror/suspense film called “Blood Shine.

It does its best to warn you not to get involved with a cult or drink sun tea from a stranger.

One More Thing

The Only Meditation You Will Ever Need…

If you ever wanted to meditate but couldn’t get into all that “pay attention to the breath” stuff, this meditation might be for you.

This is not safe for work, so watch who might be around or watch and listen with earphones in.

Enjoy the calm!

Thanks always for your interest!

If you would be so kind to share this newsletter with your friends, I would appreciate it!

See you next week!
